HM The Queen: A Tribute

A new musical tribute featuring the voice of HM The Queen accompanied by the Treorchy Male Choir and the London Studio Orchestra written by Adrian Munsey and Jeff Chegwin. The track was performed by over sixty of Britain’s finest instrumental players and was arranged and conducted by Paul Bateman. The trumpet solo is by Andrew Crowley, principal trumpet of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The world-famous Treorchy Welsh Male Voice Choir accompanied The Four Sopranos.

The track can be downloaded from iTunes, Amazon Music (UK) and Google Play or listen on Spotify, Deezer, Rdio or Tidal

Adrian Munsey said “This is a simple musical tribute to HM The Queen, emphasising the affection the nation has for the Queen and her importance in providing dignity and continuity to the nation through the many changes experienced during her long reign.”

Concept creator Jeff Chegwin said “My strategy behind this record was to create with composer Adrian a genuine thank you piece for a very unique special woman who we all hold dear in our hearts and for it to represent and resonate lyrically the voice of the man and woman on the street from the taxi driver, teacher, greengrocer to the doctor, soldier, labourer and the nurse and school run mum, teacher and grandmother all of whom the Queen has inspired through decades of selfless devotion.”

Chief Executive of Coming Home Brigadier James Richardson MBE said: “We are honoured that Her Majesty the Queen has been the Patron of Haig Housing Trust throughout her magnificent 63 year reign. This song pays a wonderful tribute to her and we are delighted that a share of the proceeds from the sale of this track
will help us in our work to provide specially adapted homes suitable for severely wounded and traumatically disabled Service and ex-Service men and women.”
